About the Shred Ready Foundation, Inc. and BecauseRocksHurt.com
The Shred Ready Foundation, Inc. is the philanthropic arm of Shred Ready, Inc. We are a not for profit corporation with the purpose of granting funds on a yearly basis to fund research of the performance of helmets in water sports, river and environmental conservation efforts, exploratory expeditions, and student scholarships.

For 2008, the Shred Ready Foundation will be holding a series of “helmet art” galleries called BRH1, BRH2, BRH3, and BRH4 to raise money for American Whitewater. As well, we will be conducting research into the impact velocities typically experienced in whitewater.

The Shred Ready Foundation is funded through events such as BRH helmet galleries, and grants from other organization and is staffed by volunteers.
